Shredded Paper Soil

I use this background to photograph potted plants, which are often wet and have soil on the bottom of the pots. No matter how hard I tried with paper backgrounds, they inevitably would get wet and dirty and then tear. This vinyl background is great, because it can get wet and dirty and just get wiped clean, and be reused over and over again. Very economical too since we don't go through tons of the paper anymore!

Unlike some shredded paper that is crinkled, B&H shredded paper is non abrasive, perfect for packing fragile glass items.

I actually use these for dirty laundry while on a trip. I works great as a portable laundry basket if you don't have a way to do laundry while you're traveling and don't want to soil the rest of your clothes as well.

So the tripod I bought did not have any spiked feet on it. I need them when I'm out taking landscape or other types of photography where I am on different textures of soil. These spikes really allows me to sink my feet in it for real stability. So glad that I bought it. Very happy with these Feisol Long Spike feet.

On calm days when there is enough moisture in the soil to minimize dust in the are I don't use a protective filter when shooting out of doors.. Unfortunately in Oklahoma it's often windy and dusty...

Cheap, no. Worth the extra dollars, yes. Will be adding a VT2-3 base for places where the soil is soft.

I use this product in educational work with children and adults, teaching them about soil as an ecosystem, composting, vermicomposting. This product is great - variable focus, easy to put on microscope, really easy for people to move around and look at all the critters in the soil. I really haven't found any cons about this lens. Really worth the investment!

I did something stupid and crashed the Mavic 3 Pro into a tree. It still flew but two of the props were shredded and the camera gimble was busted. With the contract, total cost to get a replacement was $159. It came in a shrink-wrapped box and looks new. If it is refurbished, you can't tell. The longest part of the process was the slow shipping to DJI in Texas with the label they provided, which took almost a week. Return service was only two days.

My original purchase, the backdrop was snagged and the cover case shredded within 2 uses. This company has great customer service. They reached out to me, replaced my backdrop sleeve and storage case.

Two of these survived a shipment that left both boxes bent, torn and shredded on the corners, with only minor scratches. Very tough! Also the stand bases are much lower profile than most, so they get kicked less in use.
