Shure Headsets Microphones

I've used several different makes and models of gooseneck microphones and Shure is the best.

Use It with my Shure Beta 58 microphones. Great sound.

This was a replacement for one of our Shure Wireless Microphones at our Church. It fit perfectly, and now the microphone looks like new again!

A very good package using still one of the best dynamic microphones in the Shure SM57 after almost 50 years.

These are a perfect fit for the handheld wireless Shure PG58 microphones.

For the price, this is a really excellent set-up and the shure wireless transmitter can work with other more advanced headsets if you want to upgrade. But in general this is very high quality for the price.

I read a lot of conflicting reviews about whether or not using rechargeable batteries with Shure wireless headsets was a good idea or a bad idea. The conflicting opinions seemed to sort themselves out if you chose wisely on the brand of battery. These seem to have all the positives of rechargeable (cost savings, better environmental steward, no reordering) and seem to work as well as the non-rechargeable Duracells. So far I am very impressed both for handheld mikes and body packs for lavalieres or headsets. I ended up getting three of the 4 slot recharger units to charge the batteries because I couldn't get the 10 slot unit anymore.

We use the headsets for conferences. Speakers are sometimes hesitant to put them on but once they do, they like them. They are better than lapel microphones since they stay next to the speaker's mouth no matter how they turn their head. They can be a challenge to put on people with *big* hair but so far, we have been able to fit them on everyone.

I had been using cheese ball microphones that came with headsets to make training videos for my clients. Since I didn't charge them for his value added service I didn't worry too much about the quality of the voice over. So now my training video production skills are enough for me to be able to charge for the service but the audio quality isn't near what it needed to be. I read some revews and finally settled on this product. i haven't looked back. What a great microphone for a non-pro like me. In addition, B&H was a wild card for me but I ordered from them anyway. I was very happy with the delivery time and the price.

What else can we say about these classic microphones?.would be awesome to shure had included a pair of SM81 in the kit.
