The LC-1 Lapel Clip, available from B&H, is the original that comes with the Azden lapel microphone, but is not avaible from Azden. The clips are designed well but may still be subject to breakage if talent tries to snap the microphone on or off the clip rather than sliding it. 5 |

If you are looking for an alternative to lapel mics for your Shure transmitter, these solved our problem of audio cutting out when speakers turned their heads away from the mic. Price can't be beat. 5 |

I used this mic at a church as I was filming a young female pastor. I simultaneously used a shure lapel mic. There was no comparison in that my AT897 was so clear and clean even when the speaker moved away from the mic. Editing the video was the easiest project ever. 5 |

We upgraded the sound of our Shure wireless mic by replacing the "general purpose" lapel mic with this Countryman B3. While the Shure lapel that came with the system was not bad, the Countryman is brighter, crisper and much smaller in size.
