Shure Microphone Stand Adaptor Beta 87

No need to upgrade to another capsule model from Shure. Forget about the Shure Beta 87, Beta 58, or any of the other models. We purchased the stock SM-58 capsule and after swapping with this one, the person's vocal sounded a lot warmer and crisper. Some of her harsh tones also were no longer noticeable. 5 |

THE Shure Beta 58A is the best microphone for live vocals...the only mic I will ever use. 5 |

I bought this clip on mic to use with my Tenor and Alto sax. I was originally using a beta 87 on a stand, so at first I was worried about considerable quality loss: not so! I even use it with the cheaper shure pgx wireless system and it sounds great! I am gonna have to buy another one soon to keep them ready on both saxes instead of switching....I should have bought this years ago. 5 |

I use this windscreens for my Shure Beta 54 and AKG C520 headworn microphones. The quality of foam is great. This windscreen helped me to eliminate vocal pops that I had with my new Shure Beta 54 microphone. The only cons is that a hole on the foam is too small, so I had a problem putting the windscreen on the microphone because it's very tight. Other than that, it is great product. 5 |

Shure 58A Beta doesn't need any recommendations. It's probably the best vocal microphone for live performance. BHP delivered this product fast and with no issues during these crazy before Christmas days. 5 |

Compared this C7 to the Shure Beta 87. Specs show it has more output, slightly flatter response, tighter supercardiod pattern, quieter noise floor and higher max SPL for the same retail price. I'm not disappointed. This is a great sounding mic. To check the pickup pattern I spoke into it and rotated it through 180 degrees from front to back and watch the meters on the mixer. For voice, it starts dropping at about 45 degrees from front and center and by the time I got to 90 degrees I was down by more than 30 db. From behind it was down another 5db again, but it was an unscientific test so probably was picking up room reflections. Using it at graduation to pick up audio for video it did a really good job of rejecting the room speakers and noise...it almost behaved like a shotgun mic. In my opinion, it's a better mic than the Beta 87 and has excellent sound quality and feedback rejection characteristics. It's an attractive mic, too. I plan to buy more. 5 |

I like this mic much better than the Shure Beta 52A. Much more responsive and easier EQ'd too. 5 |
