Shure Se215 Wireless In Ear Monitor

I dig the idea of in-the-ear monitoring system and the "Shure SE215" system seems a good way to get into the game.� For the price they seem like really good monitors, with no noticeable distortion in either of the ranges, I'm a drummer so I crank them up.� Installing them in the ears seems a little tricky at first, (for me anyway), but once in I'm good to go, and it sure beats hauling around a big heavy speaker!� Rage of the age to me.

I have owned Shure in-ear devices for some 20 years. Started with the E3C. I currently own the SE215 and SE425 as well as many other wired IEMs. My true wireless device is the TW-1 besides the BT1 and BT2. Not sure why I bought the AONIC 4 as I was already in good shape, but I had read about the hybrid driver and that the AOMIC 4 sounds more realistic than the SE425. I was alternating between the SE215 and SE425 for gym and travel respectively. Now the AONIC 4. I am using this for the gym and travel. I placed the others in a drawer. The sound is so much fuller that the SE425 and does not have the weak sound of the SE215. Noticeable improvement. The fit is secure. Do not fall out of the ear. Works well with the TW1/TW2 setup with the MMCX connection. Worth the money although I would wait for a sale as I did. Good luck!

The SE215 by Shure are a fantastic product for anyone looking for high quality in-ear earphones are a bargain price. I've had a difficult time in the past with in-ears fitting properly, but I have no problem with the SE215s. They're comfortable and isolate an incredible amount of outside noise which allows them to produce great audio quality at a low volume. Highly recommend!

I paired this exceptionally tiny amp with the Shure SE215 in-ear-monitors. It sounds almost as good as my ~$2k desktop headphone amp setup. But I cant fit my desktop amp and headphones into my motorcycle helmet. These I can. What else is there to say?

Great headphones. I own several Shure headphones, both for travel and for studio use. The SE215 do not disappoint, great for travel.

I am a longstanding Bluetooth user with in-ear headphones. I first used the various Shure devices with Bluetooth adapters, then the Shure Bluetooth adapter and finally the TW1. this is just information as a foundation to my review of the PI7. Bowers and Wilkins has been on my radar for some time as I also own the PX. Finally, I pulled the trigger on the PI7. There were on sale for $298 The sound is far superior to the Shure TW1 (with SE425). this is my comparison as the Shure devices combined were $189 +$299. The Shure TW2 with SE215 is now about $239 but the sound quality is not as good as the PI7. Yes, I have the SE215 as well. The PI7 has better noise isolation. active canceling. There is no leakage. The room just disappears. The sound is three dimensional in my head. Listening to Ray of Light (Madonna) gives a good range of music as that song has so much production, one can hear it all. I was debating whether or not to hold out for the next version as the battery power might be better but bought it anyway. Not sure if I would have bought them for $399, but for $298, yes. Also note the case acts as a Bluetooth transmitter. The volume needs to be pushed up a bit, but it still transmits. Good for flights. I already used one of these, but the combination means one less thing to carry.

The Shure SE215 headphones are fantastic. They block out a considerable amount of outside noise. They also limit distortions in the music. All music from classical to Hip Hop sounds crisp and clear. You don't sound like you are using headphones at all.

Perfect replacement cable for the one that came with my Shure se215 earbuds originally. Works exactly as the original did, no issues. Would reccomend buying here rather than Amazon as some people have reported getting knock offs from Amazon.

Shure SE215 are a bargin at their list price. I paired them w/ the Bluetooth dongle (RMCE-BT2) and they are perfect as my daily commuter and cellphone headset. The SE215 are not as warm or as smooth sounding as my SE535 and SE846 but they provide clear reliable voice and enjoyable music (when needed). I also worry a lot less if I lose or damage them.

I bought these as a replacement for a pair of Audeo PFE-112s that I managed to lose on a train trip. After some research on the Internet, I chose the Shure SE215 because of their consistently good reviews. The SE215 comes with six sets of tips, S/M/L in both silicone and foam. This almost guarantees you'll find a set of tips that will give you a comfortable fit and a good seal. The cable is surprisingly thick, yet it's soft and pliable. The 2-3 inches of cable nearest the earphone is covered with a stiff, bendable sheath that allows you to bend the cable over and behind the ear. Because of the soft cable and over-the-ear routing of the cable, microphonics (sound transmitted to the earphones through the cables) are minimal. Sound quality is excellent. With the Audeo PFE-112, I had always been disappointed in the amount of bass. The Shure delivers plenty of bass for my tastes, yet without the muddiness often heard in cheaper earphones. Mids and highs are clear and snappy, though perhaps not as clean as you might hear in a more analytic set of phones. No complaints here, though. I listen to an eclectic mix of music ranging from classical to rock to electronica. I don't expect one set of earphones to do it all well, yet the Shure SE215 handles most of the music I throw at them without too many compromises. I have no real complaints. Given the comfortable fit and sound quality, I would rate them as one of the best values out there.
