This boom, are works for reaching over my computer monitors. I purchased it to support my Shure SM7B mic but also to be able to move the mic behind my monitor when not in use. The springs are super quiet and the reach perfect. the cable management to hide the XLR cable is great and easy to use and access. I did have to tighten up the arm bolts to get it to the holding tension I wanted. It is large but it fits what i need it to do. 5 |
