Shure Vs Westone In Ear Monitors

Got this cable for my Shure 425s, in-ear monitors are just a bit easier to deal with an extra-long cable. Definitely looking to get an extra pair soon! 5 |

I paired this exceptionally tiny amp with the Shure SE215 in-ear-monitors. It sounds almost as good as my ~$2k desktop headphone amp setup. But I cant fit my desktop amp and headphones into my motorcycle helmet. These I can. What else is there to say? 5 |

These sound as good if not better then my Westone UM Pro 30’s, but these sound noticeable smoother even at the same volume levels. Bass is also very good. The build quality is also very good, and the cable is of equal quality. The packaging is probably the best I ever seen in IEM’s at this price level. You get plenty of ear tips ( I’m using the medium size memory foam tips) but I’m sure you can find a ear tip that is good with most ears. Fiio also throws in a nice little plastic case and even a soft pouch. I’m keeping these!! 5 |

great sound, great bass, great price. I have porta pros and also Westone UM2 (in ear) the westones have been my favorites for the past 7 years that I have had them, the porta pros are very close in detail and overall sound quality at 1/10 the price. Great when I do not want all of the isolation/noise reduction of the outside world that my westones provide because they are in ear, for example when running in the street it is good to be able to hear a car as it gets close. A must have for any music enthusiast. 5 |

Hard to beat a good ViewSonic monitor. This might be the best value at 1080P 165hz! If it's anything like my past VS monitors, it'll last you 10+ years! 5 |

I love these headphones. As stated in the title, I replaced my Shure SE215 in-ear monitors with these. I used Shure IEM's for traveling because of the high sound isolation provided by the triple flange ear tips. I decided to go a different direction with these because all my other headphones are Sony and I've always preferred the sound of Sony. I use Sony IEMs and Sony over-ear headphones for producing, mixing, and mastering music to give you an idea of my sound preference and experience with critical listening. The noise cancellation in the WI-1000XM2 is very comparable to the sound isolation of the Shure's. I would say with the proper fit, the noise cancellation is better, unquestionably in the low frequencies. The sound of the WI-1000XM2 is excellent. Slightly bright but not overbearing and certainly not lacking in bass. Detailed, clear, and balanced. I've already used them for traveling and love them, especially on planes. This is my first neckband headphone and it doesn't bother me. I might even say I prefer it as they can remain around my neck without constant stowing. Also, the cords to the earpieces are short won't tangle :) The build quality is excellent. I highly recommend them! 5 |

I have owned shure earbuds in the past. single driver ones because I didn't want to pay the money. Well, I am finding out more and more, you get what you pay for. And in this case, it's a good thing!! The sound quality is fantastic. You can hear every instrument individually. And for an avid METAL listener like me, that is very important. I liked these ear buds so much, I bought another pair for my girlfriend a week later. The only catch is you must get used to the proper way to put them in your ears. BUT, once you do it, you got it down! If you are a music enthusiast or a musician, these are buds are way worth the money!!! Also, I travel most of the year, these ear buds are an absolute must for frequent travelers!!! Kills all plane noise.....AND KID NOISE 5 |

The Shure se215s are an EXCELLENT option for any serious studio or stage monitoring work. I first used them nearly 15 years ago in a live setting with Shure's wireless in-ear system. I never really thought much of them except that they sounded pretty good and would mostly stay in with my thrashing around the stage. Recently I was looking for a pair of wired earbuds for monitoring while traveling and I was pretty sure a mixer/producer friend was using these. We spoke about them and he told me he starts all his serious mixing tasks on these. I trust his ears and how right was he about these. These are the most accurate monitoring devices I've ever used. The have detailed flat bass response with crystal clear frequency response throughout and they are very comfortable. I haven't had ear fatigue or discomfort from these yet. I've completely stopped using my Audio Technica ATH-M50s because these sound so much better. I'm able to hear into the mix more in my own work and also just listening to a streaming service as well. These earbuds make listening to music fun. More fun than it used to be and I nearly always have music playing at home so I'm quite a music fanatic. The value on these earbuds is impeccable. Really they don't have any business being as good as they are and, as an added bonus for travel, they come with a carrying case pounce that also has a clip so I can clip it on my belt loop and not lose them. I hope to always have a pair of se215s. I'm a true believer. 5 |
