I have begun using Off Camera Flash for my wedding Receptions as well as some low light ceremony shots and I needed something that wasn't super expensive but would do just what I needed and this was exactly it. It is perfect! I heard some reviews saying the air cushion does not function properly but mine works great! Definitely recommend! 5 |

Off camera flash is sometimes preferred to on camera flash. The SU-800 Commander is the perfect way to trigger my SB-700 flash when the flash is in a remote position off the camera's hot shoe. But, it is NOT a radio frequency control device so the flash has to see the trigger signal to fire. In normal rooms and offices it is a capable companion to the flash. The SU-800 will trigger multiple flashes off camera, as well, when set for this function. 5 |

The Vello Off Camera TTL Flash Cord works perfectly. Be sure to read the owners manual if you have not used an off camera cord before. The cord has to feed toward the lens side of the camera to match up the circuit connections. The 1.5 foot cord is fine with the Stroboframe flash bracket but a larger bracket might need the longer cord. 5 |

I previously had a vague notion of what grids could be used for, but then I learned a lot more from the Off Camera Flash book by Vanessa Joy. This book suggested certain strategic uses of grids that I had previously not considered, and the Profit A1 Grids worked pretty much as easily as the book described. 5 |
