Side Mirror Control Switch Replacement

I needed a new unit to mirror (RAID1) save my work, and decided to switch over from LaCie for a change. So far I'm very impressed! The unit is well built, solid and the fan's not too loud. Looks both cool and modern, while also low key. I did call customer support to make sure I was setting up and initializing it properly, and got a person on the phone without too many hassles. He answers my questions and got me sorted quickly. The online manual could have been more helpful, but customer support was easy enough.

I have a 500mm mirror lens but could not take a shot without it blurring. The Canon RS-60E3 Remote Switch solved that. I will also be using it for astro-imaging solar system objects as well.

I like that it includes a volume control, a power switch and audio control.

I mostly use these for shutter control. Works mirror up, timer one click, or bulb mode holding the button. Brilliant reliable kit. I also shoot high speed flash sync with these, just set your camera to 250 auto and flash to manual full power. Move or diffuse the flash hand held, but keep it at full power. No black outs up to 4000 fps for emergency bright sunny day fill.

This remote is tiny, but it works quite well. I use it in the mirror up mode for a lot of my shooting, and it's great to have a wireless control option without having a wireless receiver dongle on one side of your camera.

It is awesome to use such a large disc and be able to back off and not be up in the models' business. The mirror side provide some great professional portraits, and the white side some awesome soft lighting when it's all you wanted. A little difficult to figure out how to put it back in the bag at first, but the bag itself is awesome, and it is HUGE! Great product!

This works well as a head strap but it also works if you want to use it to wrap around something that may be easily scratched. This could mean the side view mirror of a car or maybe just to wrap around your pet. Over all, this product is one to have handy.

As all portabrace cases this case just works, works great. 2 dividers can hold mirror less and 2 lenses. Side pockets and heavy duty belt to keep it on the waist. Great case.

Have only had it for a few days, but I love the power switch and volume control on the remote.
