Side View Block Screen Protector

Helps block out light from the side that would interfere with your view through the lens. Can be rotated to adapt to your camera's orientation.

I was shooting outside and the only way to block the sun from bleeding in from the side was to use gaffer's tape. This eyecup clips right in and does a great job. If you are using the screen, it is best to extend it out so the eye cup doesn't block the screen.

Once I installed the screen protector looks good and works great. Nice clear view. NO complaints.

Since the Nikon B700 view screen can be easily damaged I looked for a solution, and this tempered glass protector is the answer. It is a perfect fit and looks like it was applied at the factory. Its easy to install due to the frame being raised around the screen, so you just line up the edge on one side and drop it in. The hardest part is making sure no dust is trapped in-between, so I aimed a small flashlight from the side and used a microfiber cloth to repeatedly wipe it off as any particles landed. I am very happy with this product.

I've looked at several options for microphone arms for my office setup and have not really been satisfied. I want an overhead mic, but have large monitors and most of the stands/arms I've found put the mic to the side or in front of me, blocking the view of my screen. This is tall enough to get over my tall monitor (32) and probably an even larger one, so that I can get better direct sound without losing desk space to for a side-arm or blocking my view of the screen being on my desktop in front of my monitors. I'm very pleased.

Excellent view of screen from wide side angle even with a room with high ambient light (7 8' high windows with miniblinds for light control. Highly recommend the screen.

This screen protector fits the SL2 perfectly.  Be sure to position it squarely against the hinge side of the screen before letting it drop into place.

The first screen protector I received was a lemon (the adhesive side was mislabeled, causing issues with installation). After emailing Vello's team about it, they offered to send me a courtesy replacement. It arrived quickly and this replacement adhered to the BMPCC perfectly. It's clear, doesn't shift the colors in a noticeable way, and came with everything I needed to clean up the screen and install it to avoid bubbles. Would definitely recommend.

I see most of the negative reviews are from the ARRI side. However, with the Komodo this monitor has been great. The Control OS has been great and very easy to use. I think it’s a good investment considering the functionality of the touch screen and the price. I used to always use 5 inch monitors but when it comes down to it the extra size helps out so much for critical focusing. The build quality is top notch, just make sure you get a screen protector. My screen protector cracked but without it who would have known what may have happened.

Thin. Does not block field of view. Easy to clean.
