I had the Sigma 50mm EF lens so the first RF lens I purchased was the 28-70 2.0 RF zoom. That zoom was so good I didn't feel I needed the RF 50mm. The second lens I purchased was the 85mm 1.2 RF which is a beast of a lens. There were a few purchases along the way and I finally decided to go ahead and get the 50mm 1.2 RF. WOW, this is the one that says on my camera unless I need one of the other specialties. It's funny how some think it's a large lens but isn't for me as I lived with the two other beasts and this is a light weight. Quality image and fast focus.

I am on Sony‘s 24/70 GM as well as Camerons 28 Dash 75. When sigma introduced their 24/70 I watched Gerald Undone’s review and decided to try the Sigma. The Sigma works flawlessly. I can’t see any possible reason to spend the extra money on the GM unless you need the extra stabilization. On my a7S3 I don’t see the need for extra lens stabilization. And although the Tamron was very nice, the sigma is superior in just about every way. If you really need the savings in size and weight then I guess the Tamron would be the way to go. The Tamron and the GM are great but the Sigma for me is definitely The superior choice.

Like most consumers considering an expensive purchase I did A LOT of research before I pulled the trigger on my next wide angle lens. I chose the Sigma Art 12-24 over Sony's native G Master 16-35 (I already have the Tamron 28-75 so the 28-35 focal range was already covered by that lens. Of course, now I'm missing the 24-28 focal range, but it's not a deal breaker for me when I can move a few inches forward). I'm 100% satisfied with my choice. Sony's GM lenses are great, don't get me wrong, but so is an extra $1100 in my pocket while also getting Sigma Art quality.

Bought this bag for my Sony a7iii camera and the following lenses: Tamron 17-28mm f2.8 Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 Tamron 70-180mm f2.8, and Sigma 100-400mm f5/6.3 Perfect fit, 100-400 on left, A7iii with 70-180 in middle, and 17-28 and 28-75 stacked at right. The Tenba Cooper bags are of great quality and I got a great deal. Highly recommended!

This is the lens I have been waiting for. Had the Sony 28-70 lens and that was my go to lens but had to change it out for large group photos and had to change for longer distance shots. This is a great utility lens that will stay on my camera.

I bought this rail for use on a Sony PZ 28-135 f/4 lens (video). Another is used on a Sony 70-200 f/4 lens. Neither of these lenses has an RRS replacement foot, which would be the best choice. However the 2.9" rail fits nicely and gives a solid means of support.

You will not find a better 24-70 f2.8 Sony E-mount Lens at the Sigma price.
