Long distance, stable signal The best thing is the easy operation app

This mesh wifi work's great in a concrete house. Strong signal the app for configuration is user friendly.

At the price you should have one of these. There are times when the wifi signal is a struggle in some places and the app is not able to be used. This works super simple and setting up the lights takes seconds. You cannot go wrong with this even if you have the app.

I mainly got this because I roam remote areas alone, sometimes without a cell signal. I like its tracking ability, although I have a tracking app also on my phone. My friends can view my whereabouts on either MapShare or the tracking app, which I like. I use my phone as a topo mapping device, with downloaded maps so phone signal doesn't matter. I carry the little Mini-2 everywhere. I am still on a learning curve using the Explore app, but getting better.

Good all around unit. Good range for WiFi, good signal strength. Make sure you download the app before you unplug your old unit .

Just finished 5 day shoot with this and it held up amazingly! Only lost signal twice 60 hrs of being on and just had to do a restart to get it right back. I've used Teradek systems that dropped out way more often. Plus the wifi and app system actually works! My gaffer could move lights and see frame at all times, the director could walk around and plan blocking with the actors and even the studio teacher used the app so that the parents in the holding area down the hall could watch their kids. One persons phone didn't want to connect for some reason but everyone else's worked great!

As good as the mic in my Pixel 5 is, this gives a much clearer, more targeted signal and records well using the RDE Reporter app. I mean, it doesn't have the full breadth and punch of a VideoMic NTG or an SM58, but for the size and weight it gets the job done. Stays in the USB-C jack without wobbling or falling out. Nice dead mouse windscreen, too.

Just recently purchased a SPYPOINT. The Micro LTE. Was recommended from a friend. And honestly I couldn’t be happier. I looked into many cellular linked cameras. Did lots of research and decided to try it. I was worried about the connection. When I am on my property my cellular service is pretty good. When I first installed camera my signal was fairly week. So I moved it a few times and found a pretty strong signal. I wanted to make sure before I left since the property is about 5 hours from my house. Once I figured out the settings on the app it seemed to work great. Started receiving photos after a few days. And when the camera took photos I received them within minutes through the app. I read lots of reviews and some didn’t think the resolution was very good. But with the distance between me and the camera I have had no problems. Photos are extremely good in my opinion. Very happy with product so far. Will definitely be purchasing a few more of them. For the price point they are great cameras.
