I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on. 5 |

I own at least 10 of these drives and have yet to loose any data. 4 of them are over 5 years old, one of which did show signs of failing. I caught it with apples disk utility and as such, had plenty of time to copy all of the data to a new drive. I definitely trust this 1TB model. Have also recently purchased the 3TB version for mass storage of all my video and audio files. So far so good. Can't go wrong with Seagate. Great price from B&H. Rock steady build. 5 |

I bought this drive to replace another that appeared to be failing. The LaCie drive is solid enough and looks able to take a misstep. However, it is the performance that I am most impressed with. It works seamlessly with Lightroom both in transferring data from my memory card and in working on the images. Very pleased with the purchase and a big shout out to B&H for taking such good care of its customers. 5 |
