Silver Laminate Sheet

Silver gelatin prints are the benchmark for black and white photos due to their longevity and beauty, however if you don't need your prints to last hundreds of years and the beauty of your prints is most important to you, I recommend Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Baryta Glossy Fine Art paper at 315GSM. I find that archival pigment prints on this Hahnemuhle sheet are virtually visibly indistinguishable from Silver Gelatin prints. As far as the cost are concerned an 8 1/2 x 11 Hahnemuhle sheet of paper is less than $2.50, and when the cost of ink is added the total cost of the print is approximately $5 versus Silver gelatin at $60-$70 plus cost for shipping. I am using both processes depending on my final goals.

This is a really cool product. The black, silver, white, and gold covers are in a sheet that zips onto the reflector. Its an ingenious design, and a good price for this product.

I love how baryta papers great the traditional silver gelatin look for my black and white photos, and capture the depth of dye transfer with my color work. Every baryta paper has a different base color and texture, and I choose Photo Rag Baryta because it most closely matches the darkroom papers I used to use. Hahnemhle is my first choice for papers because of the consistent product they deliver sheet after sheet, roll after roll.

You could look all this stuff up online, print it, then laminate it yourself, or you could just spend $5.

I heard many bad reviews about the product like, the screw holes didn't match up, and the laminate finish isn't great... But in my humble opinion it's outstanding for the price... Everything lined up perfectly and it's nice and sturdy... Glad I made the purchase... Will get the accessories to match...

Using the trimmer to cut excess laminate off of menus and it works perfect. Easy to measure and easy to trim.
