I use this on my Canon HF G10 video camera. It has proven itself to be very usable to stabilize video shoots with it. The size lends itself to be very controllable without the use of counter weights of other systems. Certainly the counter weight systems are useful in many if not all situations however if those systems are too cumbersome or restrictive then this is one to use. The Canon HF G10 uses a flash drive so it is not a heavy camera making it easy for this grip to handle. The single hand-grip is made of sturdy molded plastic and the attachment and pivot points are well made with a mix of chrome plated high tensile steel and high carbon steel where they count. This type of hand grip is very hard to come by as a lot of available hand grips are either part of a counter weight system or mounting system for lights, microphones, etc. In summary this is a well made, high quality single purpose accessory that deserves support from the motion and still photography community. It is easy to use and its cost is very reasonable in considering its quality. I am a firm believer in the saying that you pay for what you get. The only thing wrong about this item is that it is not always available for immediate purchase. A possible testament to its popularity? Perhaps. 5 |

Second one I have purchased. Lost the first one and could not do without! Secures a smaller camera (Z50 without binding my hand. Great product and compatible with all my other Peak Design straps. 5 |

First, have a pair of tweezers or very small pliers on hand. Second, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Other than that, it's easy, and solid. NOTE: this is NOT meant to switch between lenses. If you have more than one Nikon/Nikkor lens, buy one for each. Once it's on there, you won't want to remove it. You can, just not very easily. Also, this does NOT support any AF or aperature or any other electronics. Manual only. I don't yet know the weather sealing on it, but I'm not about to test it. I think I'll keep this in the studio. I love being able to use my favorite old Nikkor nifty fifty again! 5 |

This trigrip is exactly what I have been looking for. I have been holding a big floppy silver board with one hand while I shoot with the other hand. I've resisted buying the standard reflector arm that holds the round one. Can't be bothered setting it up and adjusting so this is much better for my needs. Good if you don't have an assistant. It is slightly a bit heavy for me. I am going to look into getting the smaller one (for faces) but might not be big enough depending how far away I am from subject. I will still use the 30 one but am going to exchange it for the one that has more changeable choices (more money of course) and get the clamp and use as reflector attached to stand in front of body. Haven't tried that yet but probably better than the music stand I have been using. So far so good. 5 |

Just added this to the silver and white version. It comes with a carrying case and it's easy to store. If you need the light to be even softer then this is a great pick up. 7 feet is pretty big so it's easier if you close the umbrella a bit, put the diffuser over it, stick your hand in the opening and the open the umbrella. If not, then it's easier with a second hand. 5 |
