Sima Camera Stabilizer

For the longest time i used the little sima lights for on camera lighting which are great inexpensive sun guns but the only downfall is that in order to be as bright as one of these lights you would need 2 of them and the internal battery of the sima only lasts for about a half hour if its on continuously. I have used the VipPro on two shoots already and on one shoot i had it on for about 3 hours and it still had power left and if thats not enough you can get another external sony battery and keep lighting. awesome buy especially with it being dim-able and the filters!

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

This is a very good camera stabilizer product but needs a support like the Eroz X1.

I have a 24-90 F4 Sima Art lens for my D780 and wanted to be able to shoot wider shots below 24mm. I reviewed many lens in this category and decided to purchase this one. Although it isn’t an F2.8 lens, the widest opening a F4.0 met my needs and also brought the price down substantially. I did not find much distortion and post processing was able to correct these issues. It is lightweight and works perfectly with my D780 and I can use it on my Nikon D7500 yielding a 24-55 focal length. I would highly recommend this lens.

There is not much I can say that hasn't already been said. I use the speed booster with a GH4(when is the GH5 coming out?) and a Sima 18-35 f/1.8 Art Lens, which now functions as a f/1.1, as displayed on the GH4's screen. I also use a Bower f/2.8 cine lens which fictions as a f/1.8. Couldn't be happier!

I have tried a cheeper stabilizer but found that it just did not come close to this one!
