Simple Photography Techniques

It is amazing I haven't used this many years ago! Photography lighting had always been my nemesis until now. Highly recommended for better lighting techniques.

This is a great product - but you have to be willing to work at it. I love how simple Ilford has made playing around with old photo techniques. Truth be told, anyone can make one of these - but it's nice to know there's a company that is out there making these in one simple package. IT's great to explore this type of photo making.

This camera is as advertised, easy to use for the novice, but allows new techniques to enhance creativity in photography. I have been a Pentax owner for years and have been waiting for this product for a long time. It is making my transition to digital very simple.

This is a sharp lens if proper telephoto techniques are employed. I use it primarily for birding and wildlife photography and videography with D3 & D600 bodies respectively. If you're already in the Nikon camp, this lens will not disappoint.

Macro Photography is absolutely outstanding! Fabulous information on camera techniques, with reference to shutter speed, aperture and ISO settings. Narrative is professionally written with key statements addressed to novices and experienced alike. Stunning photographs accompany the written word making this book not only highly informative but breathtakingly beautiful to look at. Macro techniques described are set in an easy to follow format , making it fun!!

Not only this controller is very convenient for everyday steady photography techniques, it 's a must have tool to use for Slow Shutter exposure and Timelapse motion. Super easy to use and has become my must have item in the bag for everyday usage.

I found this book to be an excellent presentation of photography techniques. I really liked the emphasis on doing things in-camera, rather than relying on post processing. Great overview of composition techniques and other considerations for getting a great shot. I learned a lot about long exposure photography, which I've never tried. Great discussion of the creative process around choosing a vantage point, lenses, apertures and shutter speeds. And of course the photography is excellent. It has definitely inspired me to go out and try some of these techniques myself!

I've been refining my ultra slow photography techniques for about a year now and figured it was time to graduate to 'the beast' - Firecrest's Nd1600. The results are amazing with the clarity I was hoping for, minimal barreling and silky smooth threading onto my lens. Ultra slow photography is the most technically challenging in my photo skill set (I use a Pluto Trigger to do the math for me) and having a reliable 16 stop filter to rely on helps keep me focused on the art rather than the techno details.

Starting out in photography can be a bit overwhelming learning new equipment and techniques. I found that while using the built in LCD screen on the camera, having that laptop or even my desktop tethered to the camera makes taking photos so much easier. The details provided through these sources is so much better to ensure a great picture every time.
