If you want to get your sensor clean you have to get one of these. You think you got it clean then you look at it with this magnifier and see a speck on it. A must have if your cleaning your own sensor.

The fabric is very good quality and it's perfect size. The fabric is clean and you can use it without washing. You only need to smooth out the creases from shipping with an iron or steam. Bought these for our rental house as got tired of washing microfiber cloths. These do not shed and clean the lenses as well if not better than microfiber.

My Sony a7R II had some particles on the sensor that could not be removed by puffs from a Rocket blower. I had a photo shoot scheduled a week away so I ordered the type 3 sensor cleaning kit from B&H. Like everyone else, I was concerned about cleaning the sensor myself on a camera with built-in stabilization. I watched the videos on line then went for it. I gave the sensor a few more puffs of air, put the camera in sensor cleaning mode and let it shake the camera, left it on after previously having set the go to sleep time up to the max setting, put three drops on each side of a swab and put the proper amount of pressure to slightly bend the swab. One pass to the right, relax the pressure and one pass back to the left with the same pressure and its done. The sensor was spotless and several test shots confirmed the successful cleaning. You may want to send your stabilized camera body to the manufacturer for cleaning but I didn't have the time and my gamble paid off.

First attempt at cleaning a sensor. Correct pressure and a slow is smooth, smooth is fast mindset is needed. Took three swabs to completely clean, but ~$10 (Only because I used three swabs) for a cleaning instead of $60 (Having a "Professional" do it) is a winner. Plus, company backs their product if your camera is damaged regardless ( whether swab did the damage or user error).

I always use nikon filters, they are simply the best and easy to clean.
