This is simply engineered to make a rugged, lightweight design to securely haul my DSLR with battery grip and 400mm f5.6 lens around. I love OP/TECH gear because it interconnect with an entire system of OP/TECH connectors and straps, so you can mix and match your straps and connectors for your personal combination of camera bodies and lenses, or binoculars. I connect this adapter to my OP/TECH lens loops and my OP/TECH neoprene strap (the latter I also use as a neck strap for my binoculars when they are not attached to my OP/TECH binocular harness). I also know from past experience that OP/TECH gear is very durable -- definitely not to be confused with Optex. 5 |
