I record a lot of taper-friendly bands, and needed a stereo mic bar that was wide enough to accomodate longer shotgun mics without being so wide as to block the view of people behind me or just be unwieldly. This fits the bill perfectly. Plus, the price was right. I haven't used it in the field yet, but I set up my mic stand with the shotguns and cables attached, and they fit perfect. Great cable for using with external mics that use a 3.5mm to xlr input on cameras. Measure the size you need since they manufacture 1 & 1.5 foot of the same cable. 5 |

Used to L-series Canon lenses used for work and play, I was concerned that so small a monocular might not measure up. Wrong! As a taper of live music (over 20 years experience) I only get one chance to do it right and I never know exactly what I am going to be dealing with as far as environment. Outdoor concerts are particularly difficult for many reasons, wind being the most common problem. I have tried many different products to cope with this issue and NOTHING beats a Rycote Windscreen! I recently recorded a show with wind gusts of 30mph+ blowing across an open field and the recording came out so good one cannot even tell from listening if it were recorded inside or outside. I DEFINITELY recommend the Rycote Windscreen for ANYONE who needs to use a microphone outside. The wind suppression is absolutely unbelievable and there is ZERO sound signal lost.
