I am using this for recording and live performance. I am a vocalist and flutist. This microphone allows natural singing by allowing you to stand a foot or more from it. It captures your voice without singing into the mic which can actually wreck your performance. I also have the Audio Technica ATM710 which has very similar qualities. The reason the AT2035 is a natural in live settings as well as in the studio is due to the fact that it is a cardioid mic. You will be surprised at the lack of feedback you will get on stage. I am very happy with this microphone. ps; I bought one for my son last Christmas.... After hearing how this mic transmits clear, full and undistorted vocals, I had to get one for myself! 5 |

I use my Zoom H5 mostly for recording singing via a karaoke system. I have used Tascom CD recorder, but the Zoom H5 clearly makes recording so much easier and readily accessible for editing at your desktop with your DAW software. You can quickly record your singing session via the x/y microphone or the XLR connections at the bottom of the Zoom H5. Once you have selected input source and adjust the input source volume, simply the record button and you are on your way to make your recording. You can connect to the headphone connector to listen to the recording, and connect the Zoom H5 to your PC/MAC via the provided USB cable for sound editing and such. It is pretty simple and easy. I have yet to explore all the features that come with the Zoom H5, but so far I am very impressed with the sound quality that this little recorder is able to capture and produce, and the ease of use to record the audio. I highly recommend this product. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this microphone for about a month to record my choir and enhance sounds for my YouTube videos, reels, and tiktoks. It’s attractive and professional looking. This microphone is SO GOOD for things like voiceovers, singing, and recording singing. The sound comes in clear. However, it is a bit cumbersome for picking up “sounds”- like from food and chopping. I am a choir director and do a lot of recording in a church and this is quite masterful for those kind of things. I also am a chef and record a lot of videos for social media- this is less good for that. However, still definitely worked. The set up was easy and the adjustment was fast. I’m really happy with it- I highly recommend. 5 |

I bought this head primarily for video use while recording various singing groups. When I record the concerts, just about everything is fixed - focus, exposure, etc. I use the head to precisely level the camera and center the group. Its much easier to do it with this head than a standard ball head, and it saves me the trouble of having to trim/rotate the video afterwards. For my last concert, I used a Fujifilm X-T3 with the XF 50-140mm f2.8, and the head had no trouble handling the combination. 5 |

Headphones are used as monitors for vocalist singing and recording to a performance track. Using with a small headphone amp. Sound is clear and clean. Not too much bass, just good detail over the vocal range. 5 |

I bought this product as another microphone for singing/podcast recording purposes. I've used Shure SM7B, which is legendary for many great reasons, but this microphone is my new favorite! I would highly recommend this mic to anyone who does voiceover, singing, and podcast work. It is pricey, but it definitely pays off! 5 |

One of the best cardioid dynamic microphone especially when singing. Meanwhile, when giving speech and recording lecture it is good enough to express the tone and emotion. The on/off switch is necessary so I recommend e835S rather than e835 which has no switch. 5 |

I used this stand while I was recording congregational singing. It was an experiment, but I am very pleased with the results. The stand is very steady even when the microphone is raised almost to the maximum. The only thing to be aware of is that the stand weighs slightly less than 40 lbs, so it may be difficult to carry long distances. Overall, the stand is very well built and served its purpose well, so I would definitely recommend it to others. 5 |

At least with my voice it sounds amazing. Both for recording voice overs and singing. Be extremely careful with the switches, they WILL break if you apply too much pressure to them. I have seen this happen in many reviews, so I am handling this little guy very carefully. Other than that, build quality is great, it feels solid and as I have mentioned, the sound is just nonsense for a $200 microphone. I guess a professional singer or voice actor would need a much expensive one to get specific jobs done, but for the vast majority of us this microphone is more than perfect. BTW, I am using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. 5 |
