Great to be able to listen and record video at the same time without having a headphone plug in.

That is Cool and Comfortable Choice. Just one question: if just use the audio plug, is it possible without Charing the headphone? Please advise.

I was looking for a reasonably priced headphone set to use with my Roland D-50 synth and Boss BR-600 digital recorder. The Roland RH-5 at less than forty dollars seemed like a logical choice based on past experience with other gear from this manufacturer. Actually though, I made the decision to purchase the RH-5 headphones because of the wide frequency response specification (10-22,000 Hz) for this model. Other brand headphones in this price range offer a much more narrow range (usually 18-20,000 Hz) so the Roland RH-5 is definitely a little better suited than some for use with electronic instruments and when monitoring live recordings. It turns out they are equally great for just listening to music on an MP3 player as well. These headphones are very comfortable to wear and provide excellent sound quality for the money. The gold plated stereo mini plug and 1/4 inch phone plug adaptor is a nice convenience feature too.

I had started taking credit cards and the the device that I use is connected to my headphone connection on my phone. No problem until I got a new phone and there is no headphone connection. I saw this and thought this will be great!! Sure enough it works great!! I am able to plug this into my USB-C port on my phone and then plug my square card reader into the headphone port on the adapter. Works like a charm!! It also works great with plug in headphones/earphones.

This adapter eliminates having to unplug my lapel mic after recording a take to plug in my headphone and check the audio. It DOES NOT allow me to monitor audio DURING the recording (at least on my Samsung phone), but I can now check my audio immediately afterwards while leaving all my connections intact.

Would not be for professional use but great for someone starting out or just a replacement for a computer mic. It's very easy to set up and get started; just plug and play. It can be used on any device including your phone or computer. Comes with a USB to USB-C cord. It has both a headphone and USB-C plug in on the back. A simple control knob to control headphone volume and you can push it to mute the mic. Recording is much better than my built-in mic on my computer.

If you are looking for a high quality build with powerful headphone amp, which can plug in anywhere on the Dante network, look no further. I love this thing! Another valuable feature is having both 1/8in & 1/4in jacks built in.

I got this to create an adapter for my AKG K191-DJ headphone, so I could plug them into the Kanex AirBlue I also got from B&H. Thus plug is constructed to pro-level quality, not prosumer where they gouge you, but true pro-quality. ( I know because I have done professional AV production.) Making the cable was easy enough: I could have done it but I have a friend more versed in cable construction. So we got AKG's service manual and gutted an old sony cloth wrapped 3.5mm headphone cable for the other end, cut the cable down to a few inches and made it in no time. (3 solder joints, although very tiny, do not take long.) I am planning to buy another one for a Female version to try out other Bluetooth adapters that have a male 3.5mm plug, since we still have the female end of the 3.5mm sony cable. So, yes I would buy it again and recommend to a friend: top notch product!

This comes as a two part device. It is a very good sounding TRS plug-in-power mic, and an inexpensive USB audio dongle with an input and a headphone output. It is NOT a TRRS device (which I think it said it was somewhere), and a trrs is only generally used for something with both a headphone and a mic. The mic sounds very good, any self noise well below the living room background noise, good sensitivity. I used it with a handheld recorder which supplies about 2.5 volts, which is required by this condenser mic. I suspect that the ring on the TRS plug is not connected to anything, just there to avoid contact with something that could cause a problem. On this windows 7 computer, the USB device did not work, and I was not going to use it anyway, so I am only reporting on the microphone. I did not troubleshoot the USB dongle, could have been a reboot or something would fix it. I suspect previous reviewer (Karen) had either a defective device, or misunderstood how to use it, or had the same trouble I had with the USB part.
