Right out of the box and into the sky the mavic mini has been a joy to use. While I held out on purchasing a drone. This one for $400 is a great deal

This not an accessory for your drone, this is must-have equipment for flying, unless you have a crystal sky or a better monitor. I decided to get a hood after a flight in NY under sunlight, after the first use I can say it was the best purchase after my p4p v2. I am able to see every single detail on my tablet on %50 brightness under direct sunlight. And I can observe the sky and my drone while checking the monitor, unlike goggles. Get it, you won't regret it.

A long time ago, I found a Minolta CLE with a Zeiss Wetzlar Summicron-C 40mm f2 lens in a thrift shop... for only $3. I ordered this adapter so that I could try the lens on my X-Pro1. And the lens/adapter combo  looks like it was MADE to go with the camera, and it works beautifully. I tested it on a late sunset sky, and the old lens (despite its total manual controls) seems to resolve subtle changes in cloud/sky colors better than do Fujis own fully-automatic lenses (check the darker sky tones above the bright sunset in the attached photo). I should try shooting both configurations under manual control... see how they compare then! I now know what the Leica Look looks like... and adore using this oldie but goodie on my X-Pro1.

I found this lens extremely simple to set up for all my night sky photography. Although it is straight up manual, I found it easier to adjust for conditions than any of my other lenses I use for night time photography. Very pleased.

Incredibly sharp edge-to-edge with very good sagittal astigmatism performance even wide open at f/2. The manual focus of this lens is actually easier to work with than on the hyper-sensitive manual focus by wire design of Fuji's lenses. The 12mm focal length is also just about perfect as it wide enough to capture wide swaths of the night sky and yet not so wide as to cause excessive perspective distortion of foreground objects. The best wide-angle lens for night sky photography with the Fuji-X system that I have seen.

I am primarily using this as an astro lens for night sky photography, and the manual focus adjustments are a little tricky, but with autofocus and IS on during the daylight, it is crisp!

Just started reading but just glancing through it I can see it covers just about everything. It covers the sky as well as photographing it. A really good technical manual. Good purchase.
