Coming up from an i7 6700K, this was a substantial jump and I am so happy for it. With liquid cooling, this can be overclocked substantially. Even without it, the card is decently fast that I haven't really needed to do apply much overclocking to it. My work is in parallel computing so it's nice to have a decent amount of parallelization capability in a desktop processor. It's no server grade chip but more than enough to be able to complete my work. It's also really capable when applied to video editing -- which can't always be offloaded to the GPU. Really happy with my purchase. 5 |

Upgrading from an OC'd 6700k 4.5ghz. The i7 was bottlenecking my 2080ti on many titles at 1440p. The 5800x is finally putting my GPU to work. Runs a bit toasty with a Fuma 2 cooler. 40-50c idle 80-85c load. All within spec from AMD so I'm not worried. Highly recommended. 5 |

First time building my own PC, I used this case with PCpart picker and it fits everything perfectly. It's got a wonderful little back panel section to run wires through a non-visible section of the case that helps make everything inside look nice and pretty. Seems super durable, all the sensitive (glass and plastic) surfaces come with plastic on them to protect them while shipping. Super solid feeling and honestly just feels like a high quality case. So I needed more power but still wanted my tablet PC. Pro7 i7...this thing is like a gamers computer. I saw reviews comparing frame rate etc and even though I'm not a gamer...I did need more power and this was the answer. Keep in mind that with extra power comes a little fan that you don't have with the i5 version. 5 |

Plugged the unit in to six Samsung HD 65" TV's and the other end in to an HP i7 PC. Image quality was incredible (Used in Radiology lab). The HP even found a sound device and audio came out of every TV. More than I expected from this switcher!! A++ 5 |
