I'm using the mic with my iPhone and the app and so far it is working fantastic. Using the old trick of a hand clap to sync up the camera audio track and the audio recorded on the iPhone has made this a HUGE improvement in my videos. They even give a few pointers on how to cut down clothing noise. I've had it for a week now and it's been working without fail. Hoping it will last for a while, and the construction seems to indicate it will. 5 |

This is my first time working with a digital microphone. The first thing I did was test it versus my iPhone 14 Pro Max and my SteelSeries Pro headset. This blew them both out of the water. I used it as a system with the iPhone, then also as just a receiver hooked up to an Osmo Action 4. Post-production using Lumafision on the iPad was a breeze as well. I bought this adapter and a 20' HDMI cable to use Skype for an Office conference. The only problem I had was the need to change the Skype setup to use the computer's internal microphone, rather than the phantom HDMI microphone. 5 |
