I am using the Blue Yeti to teach online piano via Skype and other platforms with my laptop. The piano and voice sound is about 1,000 times better using this mic. Laptop bilt-in mics just can't handle piano sound even when you monkey with all the background sound settings. 5 |

I have been using this product for interviews conducted over skype. The mic is connected to my laptop and the strong clip stand enables it to latch on to the top of my Macbook. The sound is crisp and it also clearly records the sound coming out of the speakers which has been a problem with other microphones in the past. I would highly recommend it for creating podcasts and recording amateur songs but if you are looking to record professionally then this might not be the mic for you. 5 |

After Zoom-ing and Skype-ing for the past almost 2 years with the built-in camera on my laptop, I was finally able to snag one of these, and the improvement was pretty dramatic--very crisp picture and the color balance was so much better! Plus I no longer have to worry anywhere near as much about whether the blinds are open or closed or positioning the floor lamp to avoid glare. Setup was plug-and-play, it could not have been simpler. I love my laptop, its fast and works great. My desktop is Windows 7 pro and this comes with windows 8.1 home. I just need to upgrade it to pro and I'm good to go. 5 |
