This printer has been around a year or so and the firmware updates are great and simple to preform. It is a solid(resin) preformer. Got it on sale and I do not see a better printer for the money. Uses open source software so you are not locked into any eco system. Any issues some have had in the past are fixed with the firmware updates. Mechanicaly sound and quiet. The wifi is a great addition; no usb sticks or cable needed. 5 |

This is an exceptional product that has more than fulfilled my expectations. The build quality is somewhere around military ballistic. This sticking power is simply exceptional. It works well with my Sony a7S and will stick to sheet metal and glass with no problem, at all. While the specs say it can hold up to 12 pounds of payload, I'd be reluctant to go right up to that mark. But any DSLR or mirrorless camera is going to feel very secure on this device, which, with it's three adjustable legs, can be used in many configurations. Also - get the quick release base plate. 5 |
