Solid construction. Easy to assemble and break down on set. Works like it should. One thing to be aware of...if your rods are too long the Matte Box will not slide over them. The mounting arm and bottom of the box are just too close the slide over. It's intended to be mounted at the end of the rods so make sure your rods match up with your lens length. The donut rings are worthless so do yourself a favor and buy the $35 Universal Lens Donut which works perfectly and also saves you time. Those two complaints definitely shouldn't hold you back from purchasing...this is a killer box and a great addition for any film maker. The bag included is awesome and tough as nails. Much more space than you need for the Matte box so it now also holds all my audio gear. Very happy to consolidate.

This calculator is beautiful, stylish and perfect. Item exceeded my expectations. I would purchase again.

Great fit. Very solid construction. With the slide snug to the camera body, I can open all of the side ports with my fingernail. If you want to thread cables thru the slot provided, however, you will have to loosen the slide while you thread them through. I use a wireless remote release instead of the cable release, so I do not have this issue. Works with both my RRS and Gitzo ball heads.

Back in 2009, I panned this product for sloppy construction standards and lack of a closeable cardboard box, which had been available previously. Based on the most recent review, I recently purchased three more of these slide boxes and am happily surprised. The closing cardboard box is back (which I use for storage and transporting), the slide box itself seems more robust (riveted and welded latches; back to the original latch design), and each row is the proper width. Best slide storage solution on the market.

The battery is for an older calculator. Back of the calculator indicated a different battery. After opening the calculator took the old battery out and the new one from B&H in it's place. Simple fix.

This camera is very well built as well as sturdy while at the same time being light in weight. I got great images on my first try. It comes with a simple calculator that gets you in the ballpark of exposure times. I am also enamored of how easy it is to pack and carry around.

I've been using this for work for a few months now and it's been working great. I set a programmable key for the calculator app which I use frequently. With use of 8 - 10 hours a day the batteries have not needed to be changed. The mechanical keys are much more accurate that the standard I've been used to using. Much easier to type on.
