I bought this ball head for holding a 40cm rail, which I use to attach my medium format camera and several other smaller cameras at the same time. My rail cameras likely weigh 15lbs - and a lot of the weight is distributed far from the center. This ball head is reassuringly heavy and when you tighten up the friction control, it doesn't creep at all. There is also no discernible play/wobble/slack - the quality you'd expect for an Arca-Swiss branded ball head. 5 |

Not much to say except that Rycote has yet to disappoint me. Possibly my only small complaint would be I wish they would include the 40cm XLR Jumper Cable that was made for this model or at least sell it separately. 5 |
