Slow Copy Speed To External Hard Drive

The copy speeds are painfully slow compared to today's modern hard drive standards. However, being able to casually carry half of TB of information in the recesses of my briefcase in super ideal. At less that $50 bucks for this thumb drive, I'm happy to carry a ton of near useless stuff that might come in handy at that rare moment. Works for me. 5 |

I jut got this affordable but amazing external hard drive, paired it with my MacBook Pro (2017), and it's really fast as they advertise it. Just did Blackmagic speed test and its 210/220 mbp/s. Before this one, I got Glyph 5tb Blackbox Pro (6months ago), which served me very well for one project, very stable, but with the speed of 180 mbp/s. So my opinion is, that if you want the fastest external hard drive in this price range, for your MacBook Pro (or any usb-c device), with super fancy and minimal black design, this is definitely an external hard drive to buy. Btw its looks amazing, and I don't work for Lacie, I am a video editor :). 5 |

I used this with my Promise external hard drive into my brand new Kaby Lake Macbook Pro and it seems that the speed is still there. As of now I'm quite satisfieed. 5 |
