I love iMacs and have had the same one for almost 9 years. It still worked great, but was just slow. I am a graphic designer and can have MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom and Photoshop open and working all at once, while downloading/uploading to Google Drive and Dropbox. It's amazingly fast. And I love pink. I wish they had added an adaptor for the older connections, I had to order one separately. I don't like the mouse, the edges aren't comfortable and you have to charge it underneath the mouse so you can't use it while it's charging. I ordered a different kind. 5 |

Does what it is supposed to with almost every kind of memory card. And it's a good value to boot. 5 |

I still have my old H4N. And it still works, perfectly fine actually. It's just so darn slow on boot up and I wanted a little bit more functionality. I decided on upgrading to the H6N. Used Zoom products for a while and have always been happy with their devices. Super simple and intuitive menus. And the color screen is a huge upgrade from the H4N. Not to mention, the interchangeable integrated microphones make it super easy for simple desktop podcast/recording setups. 5 |

My old laptop had gotten very slow, taking forever to boot into Ubuntu 19.04. I figured it would get worse with 20.04, so I sprung for a replacement to the original 160GB spinning drive. This did the trick - the old Lenovo now seems almost zippy. 5 |

The 2011 iMac was slow and tired. After adding the SSD and configuring it as the primary boot device, this machine is now useful, snappy and fun again. The upgrade was a bit of a major pain in the ***, but WELL worth the effort once all was said and done. So very happy now. 5 |

Daughter's 2010 MacBook Pro has been halfway around the world, but just started getting slow to load, slow to switch applications, and slow to boot up. A friend suggested putting in an SDD.Wow. Cloning the native HD to the SDD was no problem (used CCC, but that's not graven in stone). Once cloned, taking out the old one, switching the lug screws at the corners (OK, have your tor wrench--the $ set from B&H is cool) onto the SDD to hold it in place, and the open-out-in won't take a half-hour, and presto! Instant boot. Speed gain is immense. A little more RAM might not hurt...Samsung drives are as highly rated as anything out there, and this was such a snap, my daughter did everything but the cloning. Highly recommend. 5 |
