I bought this to initially charge before installation, and then to maintain, 200kwh lithium solar batteries. The unit gets pretty warm and takes a bit to charge them fully, but it finally brings the batteries to the factory recommended charge point. It accommodates lithium batteries with Battery Management Systems (BMS), and it's important that a charger be compatible those systems. 5 |

I am writing this review to counter the negative reviews that this product has received. I have been using this product for almost a year now and I have had no problems with it. The batteries work just as well as the original Canon batteries, and the charger is not as slow as people say it is. It takes about 8 hours to charge 2 batteries, which is not unreasonable. If you are planning on using your camera for a shoot, simply charge the batteries the night before. This product is a great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a replacement battery for their Canon camera.
