I can easily use it with my phone and I like that I can mute the microphone. The volume level goes upto pretty high and the bass is perfect. The buttons are easy to operate and the size is very nice. For a small unit like this, the sound is VERY impressive....bluetooth range is better than any other speaker I have (including other Bose speakers)...simple controls and the rubberized surface keeps it where you put it.

I always wanted a small portable PA system, with battery and enough power. Finally, I found it, plus extras that I did not care before, such as a wireless system and Bluetooth. The specific usage is for Christmas Caroling, to play the music tracks for the choir of about 20 people. Expedition XP106 met and exceeded my expectations. It has plenty power (100 watts), a clear and well balance output, and two features that make caroling a breeze. The music tracts can be in my iPhone, which can be sent them to the unit via Bluetooth with no wiring in between, plus, this units comes with a wireless microphone with a small receptor which it is connected to the back of the unit, via USB. The sound of the microphone is very natural and can be played (as we tested, from around 20 feet. The charge, according to the manufacturer can last up to 20 hours, all in a compact unit that is easy to carry and set. Nothing is perfect, thou. I would love to have at least a three points equalizer. I don't think there is a similar unit that matches its specs, including brand name recognition. Great unit. Love it.
