I bought this for recording acoustic guitar in a small space. I can't fit a lot of mic stands in that space. I was using a kick drum or guitar amp mic stand stacked on a stock pot to get the proper height, and that was no good. Extra annoying when I couldn't sit in my regular playing posture because there's stuff where my legs normally go. This desk mounted mic arm works great for my needs! It feels sturdy, it moves easily enough, and most importantly to me, it sets up and tears down quickly. 5 |

Was looking for a small amp to use with my acoustic guitar and dynamic mic for singing at outdoor events. This is quite portable, sounds great and is easy to use. Fishman was the brand recommended by my songwriting instructor. Saved some money thanks to a special sale. Very pleased. 5 |

I purchased two of these to use for both acoustic guitar recording and also for drum overheads. They are beautifully constructed as I have come to expect from Sennheiser products. A very useful feature are the small adjustment controls which allow you to add a pad to reduce very loud sources and select from three bass roll-off profiles allowing you to tailor the microphone to match its intended use. I have so far only used them for acoustic guitar recording and was very happy with the super clear and entirely natural sound reproduction. They are nice and compact as well. One small gripe is the average quality pouch that comes with them, but most people will probably use a road case anyway. Thanks again B&H ... 5 |

I have a project studio and record primarily acoustic instruments (Guitar, piano, various stringed instruments, hand percussion and vocals etc) Already own a set of Neumann KM 184's and an AKG C214 Large Diaphragm but have always had a fondness for the AKG small diaphragm sound ever since I started out years ago with a Vienna made C1000 (which I still have and love). I wanted another small diaphragm option and the 451's deliver big time. To be totally non technical I would describe the AKG's sound as open and airy especially on fingerstyle acoustic guitar. I tell people think of the old Windham Hill guitar sound. (yes I know they used Neumann's too). You will not go wrong with this mic if you play acoustic music. 5 |

Well, these Neumann mics are just the very best I have ever used for acoustic guitar. I've tried everything, all the way up to the highest quality ribbon mic, and these small diaghram Neumann mics are just what's needed. I have not compared them with competing quality small diaghram mics, but this is a great stereo pair for what I need - recording classical guitar and steel string acoustic guitar. I'm looking no further. 5 |

I vacillated over which mic I should buy to pair up with my acoustic guitar and my Fender Acoustic Junior amp. This turned out to be ideal. 5 |
