Small Cab Air Conditioner

I bought this Air Case to take on a trip to Norway, Greenland, and Iceland where we needed to take a lot of large telephotos, night lenses, binoculars, etc. It was great! My wife and I are both Fuji X shooters, and I was able to put most of our heavy glass in the roller case, including: 2x100-400mm Fuji zooms 2x70-300mm Fuji zooms Fuji teleconverters Fuji 16-55mm/f2.8 A big Sirui 24mm/f2.8 anamorphic Binoculars Cleaning and chargers in another small Tenba case Universal L bracket and secondary ball head for use with Peak Design tripods A bunch of small stuff not shown The case easily fit standard overhead bins on all of our flights. It is also super tough and built like a rock. The worst thing that happened was on the way home. As I paid the cab driver at Keflavik airport in Iceland for our ride to the airport, he pushed the hatch release mechanism ... which was immediately followed by the sounds of thunk, thunk, thunk ... WHAP as the Tenba Air Case rolled down the other luggage and out the back of the car.  I was still in the cab, as was the driver, and my wife had just opened her door. However, everything survived the 3 foot drop to the concrete without any damage. While I do not recommend anyone else trying this, I am obviously super happy with this Air Case. In the future, I've decided to put the Air Case in first instead of last. If it is on the bottom of the luggage pile, the Air Case (rated for 400 pounds in any direction) will easily support one or two normal suitcases.  That way, if something falls out of a cab, it won't be the Air Case with a bunch of camera equipment. Regardless, this is the best travel case I have every seen!

This speakerphone is very clear on both ends. Was able to hear the other person speaking clearly even when my portable air conditioner was running in the room.

As always B&H was very quick to send the package out and it was what we ordered no problem. Our only problem is that the air conditioner is apparently too loud for even this windscreen to totally block the noise. It does a much better job but the mic is apparently extremely sensitive to all sound.

I got this because during the hot months I can't run my air conditioner and computer at the same time due to neighborhood brownouts. If I turn the air conditioner off the computer overheats. This covers the outtages so I can work in comfort without unexpectedly rebooting every few minutes. Thanks!

Electrical power spikes occur for many reasons and your sensitive electronics won't survive unless you have a quality surge suppressor. Most products sold as surge supressors only provide a low level of protection and are little more than power bars. The Isobar offers a high level of protection and, unlike most other surge suppressors, will isolate each outlet from surges caused by other appliances plugged into it. Case in point, I needed to use an air conditioner on the same outlet as a computer. The Isobar effectively protects the computer from power surges as the air conditioner cycles on and off.

I ordered my DELTA Max as part of a bundle with the Wave air conditioner. I also purchased a 160 watt solar panel. I live in the south and am planning to use the Wave while camping to cool my tent in the evening. The solar panel will help recharge the Max during the day. I have not yet received the Wave, but I did get the Max and solar panel. I tested the solar panel and Max out today and everything worked as expected. So far, I am very pleased.

I recently purchased a new NEST thermostat to replace a thermostat custom for my furnace & air conditioner. The wiring was odd and so I called in a Reliance installer, who inspected, then easily installed the NEST. This unit functions flawlessly and it was a conch connecting it to my home wifi and adding it to my NEST account online. The product is unobtrusive and fits beautifully with our decor.
