I use this for my Small HD Focus monitor on my Black Magic Pocket 6K camera setup. It plugs into a Core AB battery plate and I can power my monitor for hours.

I got the Ikan VXF7 monitor with a view to using it as a small 7” directors monitor. Working with the Ikan BZ400 Blitz wireless transmitter and received, it has performed flawless. Having both SDI and HDMI connections has been great. Not sure about using this on-camera as the weight is more than the DH7 monitor (which I have used on-camera). Output has been good. Only complaint would be not being able to match the screen color to the RED camera display. There always seems more contrast in this monitor which make using it with 3D LUTs from the RED unless as its not a try representation of the image. But thats my only complaint about it. Again, for the money its a great monitor.

Bought this to use in conjunction with my Nikon DSLR. Window on the camera is too small, and this monitor makes it quicker and easier to see everything. No, it is not high-res nor touch-sensitive, it is HDMI only, and it is not a recorder. But if all you want is to augment your DSLR camera monitor with a surface a bit larger, for the price this is a good choice.

This is a great cable at a fantastic price. I simply use it to tether camera to a small TV monitor for clients. It fits nice and snug and sends the info very fast.

I am a pro videographer with a small budget business and my neighbors down the road from Durham, NC have designed an OLED monitor that have solved several problems for me, the most important, as the name suggests FOCUS. My mirrorless camera's screen was too small for me to realize that my camera jumped focus from the main subject to the background so the actual size of my view let's me know immediately with no guess work that I am actually getting my shot. Second, the color accuracy and detail of this monitor leaves me very little to do in post for color and contrast. The build quality is A+ and the price makes it the best purchase you can make for yourself if you are serious about your work. Everyone that has seen me work with this were amazed at the difference of the quality of the picture compared to the built in lcd on my camera. I am now confident when I leave a shoot, that I have my shot!
