Small Camera With Great Zoom

The SX210IS is a great point and shoot camera. It is small in size but big on features. The zoom is amazing for a camera this size. The only flaw in this otherwise great camera is that there is no viewfinder. High megapixel combined with the zoom make this a great camera that I would recommend to anyone.

Yes, it is an FE lens, but I love my a6000 and have been really happy with this pairing. I chose this over the 18-200 for the extra reach and the ability to use it on a full frame system if I ever decided to go that way. I've had the lens for six months now and have used it in environments ranging from the snow to the desert, it has excelled in all of them. It is a very sharp and produces great colors. It is also quite well-built -- I had to stop short at highway speeds at one point with my camera on the passenger seat. It went flying into the foot area but I've never noticed any problems or degraded images. Responding to common comments/concerns: -I haven't had an issue with the zoom ring being too stiff, it seems just right to me. -There is a small (1mm? Maybe) amount of play in the mount. I notice it when I look for it, but in usage I never think about it and it causes no issues. -It definitely is heavy, especially paired with my small camera, but now that I am used to it I don't notice it anymore. Plus, it kinda has to be that heavy to get the zoom range and the great optics. Plus it lightens your pack since you can leave a bunch of other lenses at home. -Slow focusing: With my a6000 it focuses really quick, as long as it has recently focused in a similar focal range as you are currently trying to use. It doesn't even have to be that close, but if you are trying quite different focal ranges in succession it will take a bit of hunting. Same thing in low light. This is not a fast lens and hunts a decent amount if you are in a poorly lit area, it does great with sunsets, however! Overall I am super pleased with my purchase and feel that this lens, which I use almost daily, will be a staple of mine for years to come! Highly recommended!

I’m in love with this camera. It’s small, light, and easily portable. I’m surprised it’s able to have such great zoom and the quality of the photos are great. I did have to play around with the settings, as I was getting some blurry photos to start, but once I figured it out- it’s been all good from there! Highly recommend!

Nice travel camera! Great zoom and small enough to fit in a small purse. The one thing that would make it better is having the screen flip to take selfies. Hope to see that in future models

So far I really like this camera. 20 zoom is a great plus. My last camera was only 7x and this makes a big difference. The real reason we bought this one is the small size. We wanted something that would fit in a pocket or in a purse. This fits the bill. I also like the optical image stabilization. There is no memory card included, but that's probably ok, since when they are included they are too small to really use. Camera came fast and seems perfect. I've only had it a couple of weeks. No view finder, but so far that seems ok.

This add on camera is small and works great. You just plug it into a usb and open zoom or another platform and it video on. Picture is good quality and with the ease of installation what's not to like.
