Small Corner Microwave

I like how it can be regenerated using a microwave oven.

Corner to corner sharpness and very little to zero distortion!!

I have had my phone in this case for ~2 years now, I only notice one small scuff on a corner from dropping it.

Fits perfectly on my desk in my small corner. Use it along with my H4n recorder.

Perfect. No need for a corner cut-out in the hood, as the lens + hood combo is small an unobtrusive.

There was one small damaged corner that appeared to have been damaged before packaging but it was on an interior corner that would not be noticed once assembled. Although it took a while to assemble, this desk has converted my hap-hazard office into a professional workspace. The desktop is Just the right height and the surrounding wrist rest cushions make it ergonomically comfortable as well. Internal compartments hide external drives and the sturdy desktop supports multiple monitors. The diskspace makes it extremely workable and I have confidence this will work well spreading out multiple scripts and worksheets without blocking multiple keyboard and mouse workspace.

I'd been thinking of getting a 2nd small, fast prime for my m4:3 system. when I saw this one on sale I thought I'd give it a try. It is sharp edge to edge, corner to corner at any f stop. I have absolutely nothing but praise for it. It is exactly what I wanted. I use it for low light situations when traveling with my Olympus 14x150 f4/f5.6. Whole kit weighs less than 2lb using my EM-1.

This product is very well made and it is unfortunate that it came to me with a small chip on the corner--though it has no impact on the image quality. I'm not used to using such large square filters. Price is a little on the expensive side, but less than some of the other manufacturers. Image quality is superior. It is delicate so be very careful when using it. I recommend getting the 10-filter bag holder (though it would be nice to have one half that size as 10 filters would break my bank, for sure!

I have been using this lens on my Sony A7RII and find it to be quite remarkable. For wide angle focal lengths-- I had the Leica WATE and never considered anything else. However, after trying this lens-- I am sold. The Voigtlander 15mm Heliar is stellar and is a bite sharper corner to corner than my WATE. It is also small and easy to carry in a small bag. Using filters is also easier than what was needed for the WATE. Some have complained the lens is slow at f4.5 but for super wide shots, not important for me. Also if I use in combination with the VM close up adapter-- I can get very close and even use at macro distances. This is a clear winner.

AT f/1.8 it is very sharp at center. Sharpness drops just a little at the corners. Stopping it down to f/2.8 improve center sharpness. At f/4 it has perfect sharpness corner to corner. Turning in-camera corrections off, there is a moderate amount of vignetting and barrel distortion which improves a bit at f/2.8 and remains the same after that. Here are a few points to consider: Focusing ring is very smooth. It is focus-by-wire and not mechanically coupled with the optical elements. So, no focus distance marking on the lens. Auto focus is fast and responsive even at low light Screw-on filters can mounted in front of the lens (77mm) Focus breathing is very small Good flair control Coma is very small at the corners, good for Astro photography Excellent sharpness across the image No image stabilization on the lens Overall, highly recommended
