We use these for battery backup in IT racks and on computer CPU's at desk. They are reliable and easy to service when needed. 5 |

This is just what I was looking for to connect my monitor to my CPU when I moved my CPU to a CPU holder under my desk. Great product, the right length, and a great price. 5 |

This drive is the secondary drive in a new CPU box, mainly used for data storage. It's the latest and largest of many used over the years. No Barracuda drive has ever failed in my service; most have been used 5 years or more. The Windows 7 speed index on the new box is 5.9, and it is limited by the hard drives, but 7200 rpm is the limiting factor on read and write speeds in my non-RAID configuration. I have seen no fault in the drive's performance. 5 |

Purchased looking for to when Windows 11 becomes required. New motherboard, new CPU, and upgrade in storage. This is my new Drive C replacing an older 1TB third gen M.2. Loads quicker even with twice the capacity. Loads Lightroom and 20,000+ images much faster. 5 |

Powerful laptop with the latest top mobile CPU and second from the top GPU that Intel and nVidia have to offer in mid-2024, it has operated well for me over the last month that I have owned it. Today I upgraded it by adding a 2TB Samsung 990 NVME M.2 SSD into the "SSD2" location on the ASUS MB and it initialized and formatted flawlessly in Windows 11. So I now enjoy a total of 3TB storage, with the original 1TB Hynix M.2 SSD acting as the boot drive (drive 0; "C" drive) and the new drive as secondary storage (drive 1; "D" drive). With the 32GB of DDR5 SODIMM RAM this laptop far exceeds the performance benchmarks of my 9-year-old Skylake desktop in capabilities; except the ability to run cool and silent. I've noted that the CPU temperature does max out under heavy gaming, but it hasn't noticeably affected gameplay [ESO only]. Alas, in my limited experience with laptops, they just never seem to handle peak loads without hitting thermal limits on the CPU. I may have to invest in one of those cooling devices I've seen that support the laptop and dissipate some of the heat produced; but I probably won't do it unless I actually see a problem or get tired of the fans spinning up to top speed (they can be loud, but headphones help). One or two performance cores have hit 100 C [using hwmonitor] max. So far I have no complaints. 5 |
