I have used the tripod only one weekend so far, but I like it. Have not used the folding arm function, but tried it in the living room. I was concerned whether I could adjust the camera to a horizontal view using the arm where the camera will be vertical in its regular position. With a pan/tilt head, looked like I could get any position I desired. I have had several Manfrotto tripods and the one beef I've had is there was no way to tighten the legs when folding them out so that they didn't flop around after a number of years of use. This tripod came with a small tool and it looks like there are screws/bolts on each leg that can be tightened (or loosened) for that purpose. So I believe its an improvement over older models. 5 |
