Small Handheld Camera Stabilizer

Very smooth stabilizer! Has improved by handheld shots!

Excellent stabilizer! This has changed my way of filming.. turning handheld dance -art videos into much more professional quality work. The stabilizer has a panning option which needs some getting used to. Really impressive for a lot of movement - if you are following a subject, etc. This is a real game changer. If you are filming longer then 2 hours, bring an extra set of batteries, and you are good to go!

Really cool accessory for GP, I use it as a handheld stabilizer all the time, and in the water it's the best! It floats, its easy to see and very big so you can have a nice grip!

using the stabilizer strap with nikon D7000 and 18-200 lens. The hole in the strap is a little small for this lens but I simply put the neoprene portion over my hip and place the camera/lens juncture under the strap. The camera is accessible and does not swing, very useful !

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

I bought this to hold the RemovuK1 and this is just about as perfect a tripod for it as possible. Im able to use the camera handheld while still attached to the the TT-100 and then just sit it down when I need to. Perfect. Well built, can still charge the battery while its mounted. Im not using the small ball-head that comes with it but it looks great for a small P&S camera.

I'm loving the small size of this camera. It means I can carry it around w me, and shoot stock footage (handheld) - which is also useful for my ig...the small size is the difference between me carrying it around ALWAYS or basically NEVER. Love that

I think Sony really hit the nail on the head with this accessory. It allows you not only to add PMW300 style chest/shoulder support to your small handheld camera, but it also gives you the ability to slide lock the whole contraption onto a standard V wedge (VCT14) style tripod plate! It is made of hard plastic and tin, but would not break before your actual camera did, very light weight to boot. I run a full size shoulder camera, as well as a handheld,a nd the ability to hot swap one or the other onto the same VCT14 tripod plate is very useful. One thing not mentioned on the product specs is an additional tripod attachment on the bottom of the unit. It is a removable metal block with some 1/4-20 threaded holes (maybe one is 3/8?) so you can add a non VCT14 tripod plate to the bottom. This block is removable with 4 small screws, and must be removed before the unit can be used on a VCT14 plate. I bought mine used from B&H, but I would pay full price for one if necessary.
