I will be using this for recording vocals, instruments (bass, trumpet, guitar, sax) and synth (strings, piano, etc.). Having tried it on synth samples thus far, it adds a mellowing and pleasing analog feel to the recording quality. Excellent manufacturing and presentation. 5 |

The 451B/ST may cost a bit more but they are worth the sound they capture. I use the 451's for mobile and studio work, recording various instruments & vocals. 1) Silky, Smooth Sound to melt for. 2) Little to no Eq needed (Fantastic!!!). 3) Sounds great on many instruments. 4) Makes mixing time pleasant (I love it!). 5) Leaves me more time to create. Besides the silky highs, these little microphones Pick up very impresive smooth low frequencies; which is what I was looking for in a small diaphram mic set. Another mic company offers a match pair set (which are great and are an awesome value) but, are just shy from having the 451 sound. The 451B/ST microphones makes recording easier and more enjoyable. You would have to hear other small diaphram microphones to appreciate the sound of the 451's. 5 |

A great multi-purpose dynamic mic, I use this small-sized, big-sounding tool for instruments and vocals alike. It obviously excels on the snare drum and on guitar cabinets, but I like the sound I get from it on various percussion, brass and lower-toned woodwind instruments. It doesn't have the shrill high-end crispness of a condenser, but you don't always need that. Overall, it sounds clean and strong, and adeptly resists feedback. 5 |

We use ths to transport a bunch of audio recorders, microphones, cables, small electronic instruments. Made our own custom compartments -better than the pick and pluck foam IMHO. Great way to safely transport and store the gear. Lightweight compared to other pellican models and like the latches better. 5 |

I’m so happy with my Quantum Instruments Beauty Dish with Grid and Diffuser. It small and powerful. Price is amazing for this small and versatile product. Shipping was fast and on time. So happy that come with all the different options to creat light. My only problem which might not be a problem for everyone was to take away the grid is a bit hard but once you know it becomes very easy. I recommend this product for if you want to try out a beauty dish. 5 |

I have a project studio and record primarily acoustic instruments (Guitar, piano, various stringed instruments, hand percussion and vocals etc) Already own a set of Neumann KM 184's and an AKG C214 Large Diaphragm but have always had a fondness for the AKG small diaphragm sound ever since I started out years ago with a Vienna made C1000 (which I still have and love). I wanted another small diaphragm option and the 451's deliver big time. To be totally non technical I would describe the AKG's sound as open and airy especially on fingerstyle acoustic guitar. I tell people think of the old Windham Hill guitar sound. (yes I know they used Neumann's too). You will not go wrong with this mic if you play acoustic music. 5 |

I recently bought (6) of these for an event and worked REALLY well helping us place small lighting instruments (ETC Source 4 mini) in a difficult location, where the client wanted it, but of course there was nothing to attach to - not to worry as the Autoploessoled that problem, completely and my picky client was VERY happy! 5 |
