Small Midi Controller Pedal

The Vpc1 is the best midi controller on the market. As per my research from other reviews on various piano sites, the included foot pedal really is garbage. Out of the box, it has a flutter which is visible in my daw and is audible. Shame on Kawai for not changing this pedal for all the years they have been selling the Vpc1. Many reviewers went through the process of returning the foot pedal and getting a new one only to find after a couple of weeks the noise and flutter was back. Mine is already on the closet shelf and my Roland rp 3 pedal arrives tomorrow along with a purchase of a Midi Expression iO to compliment the new pedal with the Vpc1. So if you buy the Vpc1, just know you may need to spend another $300 for the perfect setup.

I bought this case to house a small midi-controller (Faderfox UC4), and it worked out perfect. This is a very well made semi-hard case. It also has a custom plate on the front to put a logo/name card in.

Not too big and holds what I need! I use the small outside pouch for my AKAI MPK mini MIDI controller and the main bag holds my laptop, mics, cables, small speakers and there is room for more! Excellent construction. Zippers are quality too. I use this bag to . hold my portable recording rig and gear. Bag is fully padded and all around great product!

I have a midi studio and was looking for a small pad controller. I had an Akai MPD 18 that I hated. You had to hit the pads so hard, your fingers would hurt. I found the Korg Nano Pad2 and I love it. It has great pad sensitivity. Plug and play with Live and other software I have.Is it plastic, yes, but well made for $

I use this microphone for DJing, plugs directly into my midi controller and sounds crystal clear.

This is a correction of my initial review. The pedal jack is MIDI assignable, which confused me to believe it could be configured as expression via MIDI, but sadly is not. Is a simple TS jack. For expression, you need a TRS jack (tip, ring, sleeve). But is nothing that takes away from this awesome keyboard. Still I believe is one of the best values under 100$. The key action is great, and very soft for fast riffs. I'll need to find a way to fit my second expression pedal in my rig.

This is a solid pedal. I needed one for my Axiom 49 2nd generation MIDI keyboard and this thing does the job well. I've had it for a couple weeks and so far so good.

I'm a keyboard and accordion player, and this pedal is used as a sustain pedal sometimes; other times it is a MIDI program switch. The pedal is compact, positive in action, and resists sliding around. In short, a fine low-cost pedal. If it were the ultimate pedal, it would also have full damper action so that partial pedaling would be transmitted -- but there are more expensive pedals for that.
