Fits nicely around my Celestron Edge HD 8 with my Celestron Dew Heater Ring also attached. The dew heater ring cables sit nicely to the side of the dew shield with easy access to them. Very well built with a solid fitting cap and also allows for both a bottom and top dovetail bar. The tube locks to the OTA both on the outside and inside of the tube, which makes it very stable, especially with wind gusts. Only had to buy a new focus mask that I could slip over the end of the dew shield, as the other one was too small. Overall, I would give it a 10/10 ratting like other people I know using it and recommending it on different astronomy Facebook groups. 5 |

Celestron's new Dew Heater Ring provides a improvement over the traditional dew strap. By placing the heat directly on the SCT corrector less heat is needed to prevent dew forming. The ring is a permanent installation so it is always available. The installation is simple and the instructions are complete and detailed. 5 |
