Did a lot of research from HDD review websites. This 16TB Exos X18 HDD seems to be the most reasonable choice for now (great price). Not regretting the purchase - with 5 years warranty and so far so good. It is working great on my Synology 918+. 5 |

SEAGATE EXOS X18 12TB 11/20/23. Bought 2 from B&H, packaged well, arrived in 1 day free shipping standard included. The seagate is heavy and built like a tank, ultra quiet, cool to warm to touch in heavy use, 256-278gb/s speed, excellent value for the money. Will see in time how it performs and lasts. The good thing B&H is an authorized dealer for seagate if you ever have an issue contact seagate with your reciept which indicates when you bought it new because seagate otherwise would go by the manufacture date imprinted on the seagate hdd case instead. keep your receipts and enjoy this product which is my first mega hdd of this size and will fit it in a multi bay enclosure, have fun.... 5 |
