As-described, and as heavy-duty as one might want/expect. It's definitely not fragile, and will do exactly what I wanted (which was a small shelf for cellphones, pics, and such). Seems to be able to attach to a wide variety of diameter posts. 5 |

I bought this enclosure to house two drives on a small shelf on the back of my iMac's stand. Right now it holds one SSD for working files, and a spinning drive for a nightly clone of the internal disk. It works perfectly with these mixed drives set to individual mode (no RAID). May repurpose this unit down the road with striped SSDs. Individual indicator/activity LEDs for each drive are very bright (fyi). I have a few of the single bay version of these enclosures for various uses and love them. This one is just as reliable, solidly built, and easy to swap drives as the smaller ones. 5 |
