Small String Instrument Similar To Ukulele Less Strings

Nice aid when changing strings. Keeps instrument looking good.

This is a beautiful ukulele. I'm a novice at ukulele (although I've played guitar before) and want to try learning this. The first few songs I've learned have a nice tone. The tuning doesn't seem quite as stable as my steel-stringed guitar, so I need to tune it a bit more at the start of each session, although that may be something that's inherent with nylon strings. Regarding the strings, though, the feel of them is nice, and my fingers aren't all calloused yet, the way they get when I play the guitar frequently. As for price, you can't beat this, especially with the package deal. Get it.

I like this design very much as the strings on the end don't get in the way of your hands the way that most straps do. I finally had a string break after about a year and a half of use, but I already had these replacement ends on hand, so no problem. Recommended!

Lots of articulations that play well together. I also find the synchron player easier/faster to use than Vienna's older Vienna Instrument player or Kontakt based sample sets. Note that Elite sits somewhere between Chamber and Pro/I orchestra in terms of number of strings. I find that the number of strings in the Pro/I orchestra is enough that you lose some of that sense of 'bow on string'. With Elite you still hear some of that 'bow on the string'. Layering Elite on Pro is also really useful.

The GBU4101 baritone Ukulele Bag is perfect for what I put it to use as. As most popular Ukulele on in the market is the Soprano, most of the gear and accessories are for that smaller model. Finding a good bag at a good price to accommodate an instrument of 30 in length was a rather trying process and I am glad I found the GBU4101 Bag. Really fantastic big string sound in the VSL instrument family.

Great instrument for the price. Rich tones, easy to tune with very few flaws in craftsmanship. I use as a backup to my main. As you would suspect the strings that come with it are some weak but that was expected so I broke the E string tuning it. Boo hoo. So, if interested get a good set of replacement strings at purchase. I’ll upgrade with a higher quality Córdoba.

Dust cover, stretchy material, pull string to tighten around instrument base. Plenty of slack to fit just about any keyboard 49-61 keys.

Was going to build something similar with some steel boxes and 10-3 drop cord to string behind my band to plug in amplifiers. This is so much better! It's flexible, light weight and has features I couldn't make myself. Love the outlet covers and indicator lights on each outlet! Every Sound Man should own a couple!
