Company needs to use cardboard packing material instead of styrofoam. Styrofoam can’t support the weight. So it crushes and breaks. Consequently corners loosen. 5 |

I've had it for a couple of weeks now and these are my impressions so far. It's definitely moderately heavy but I am using a strap to mitigate and I think there's a way to make that work with future experimenting and testing. The 7D mark 2 with an L series 24-70 balances easily and quickly. It's cool because that camera has auto focus tracking so shooting on the move works well. My C 100 also works but I have to take off the hand grip and that removes some ease in functionality. There's a way to control the camera through wifi/web but I haven't tried that yet. It's also harder to balance the C 100 because of how the weight is displaced. The shots look great and I love that it can be put down anywhere as opposed to the other ronins. It's built solid. The carrying case is styrofoam which I assume will get chipped and not stand the test of time. It's nice styrofoam but still styrofoam. Gee...I wonder if they will offer a nicer case as an option...(scratching chin) I wonder...But, all in all. Great purchase. 5 |

Very prompt shipping and lovely raw wood finish to my boxes. I particularly noticed how the plywood layers alternated dark/light on the cut seams that show. I would have been satisfied without that aesthetic touch, since an apple box is a utility object. But making it pretty is a bonus. 5 |
