I use a large mixing bowl, filled with filtered water. I use the microwave to warm the water, 2-3 minutes, and mix about half the powder. Repeat for the remaining powder. Let it cool over night. 5 |

First, 60W will probably meet your needs in a small video studio. I only use 2-8% of the output. Secondly, a standard modifier platform (Bowens' S mount), has saved me a great deal of time. The lower cost silent heads would only accept barndoors, gaffing tape and aluminum foil. Far Far easier to repurpose old modifiers or purchase new. Previously, I would have to retape the foil at inopportune times. SILENCE is critical for me. Recording a cast once correctly is worth all the post processing in the world. Nothing beats SILENCE. 5 |

If you're considering buying this product, just know that it is exactly what it claims to be. Comes in a compact box; ready to use in minutes and seems plenty sturdy thus far (about a month of use.) I'm liking the feet that create a nice stable base for setting your Gimbal down and rebalancing, and I was surprised at how useful the threads on top of the handles are - you can mount a monitor or spare wireless transmitter on there and it changes the game IMHO. If I could have one gimbal accessory, it would probably be this one! 5 |
