Small enough for shoots out the truck windows

My staff and I compared this model to similar portable units by other manufacturers and found this to be the best bang for the buck when comparing price along with features. We use several of these for our live sound business in Akron, Ohio. They have outstanding battery life, connect well for bluetooth, plus the onboard mixer allows for excellent control. I do suggest buying the carrying bag for the speaker, which is also an excellent product.

I skipped the lower $ units available from different manufacturers hoping this one would be a keeper 1st round. It definitely is & worth the $. I appreciate the fit & finish & the built in tripod collar on Pro version is a big bonus for me as I use it as part of hand hold with Fuji XT2. Real nice for 135 & up. I do same thing with a EF 400 5.6 L as it also has a tripod collar , albeit on a Canon 7D. I change lens a lot as I have 10 MC/MD lenses & use them all. It's a enjoyable experience as it's super precise & smooth on mount & dismount. I'll stay with this brand if I go on a lens binge from different manufacturers then Minolta. Minolta rocks though & would take a very expensive lens I think to beat what I have. Joe

So far it works great. I have had some other smaller units of different manufacturers with similar capacity. After about a year of use they develop problems. Sometimes they work, sometimes they do not. Some work on some computers, do not work on others. That is why I am slowly moving to external SSDs. They work faster are reliably in comparison with spinner HDs. 2TB capacity SSDs are yet too expensive. So I took a chance with this model because it is advertised as anti-shock. After about a month of use I did not have any problem at all.

I have 5 of these units on my production truck, they have solved a lot of issues I was having with the limitations of SDI. I have run over 4000 feet of singlemode fiber with no issues. this unit can also be used to convert the HDMI out of a GoPro Hero 3 to SDI, something the other BMD convert boxes have a hard time doing.

Small and light enough to strap on my bike or keep in the padded case in my truck ... the attachment for iPhone is excellent. And to be able to fire your phone camera from a distance is a cool addition. A+

Small size, very intuitive and easy to use. Bought 2 Units and i am very pleased.

works great for holding small flash units

It fits well with my 2016 Subaru Outback. I think all the car manufacturers should consider their dashboard design leaving a small room for the customers to mount extra 3rd part vendor add-ons. Some dashboard is so unfriendly especially if you want to connect the cable to charge your devices.

I've had many different Thunderbolt docks and CalDigit is the best hands down. Other manufacturers always seem to have small issues (e.g. random device disconnects, insufficient device power, etc)
